I want to announce to all the parents of UTURN teens. We have moved Bo Ha Ha to the church property. The party will be October 31st from 7-9pm, and you are welcome to stay and hang.

Today is my birthday.

UTURN was UTURN. The best thing about UTURN are the teens, and to see how God’s love begins to change there hearts back to Him. Our lives are about one thing, a relationship with Him. Nothing else matters. i realized about a year a go that God actually delights in us. We always say we should delight ourselves in God (which is true), but the idea that the God that created such a perfect universe would chose to delight Himself in us. It was just recently that i have become enamored with this idea, and it has brought freedom into my life. My life and what i chose to do does not revolve around “is this right or wrong, sin or good”, but my choices center on delighting with God. How much fun would it be to go on a trip with your spouse and your spouse is only worried about DOING things that they think make you happy. But deep inside you just want to be with them. Your spouse will soon get tired, worn out, and resentful. And the whole time you are thinking and saying, no just spend time with me, which is the only thing to be concerned with.

This month is pretty simple.

Wednesday nights as is, except Wednesday the 31^st. There will be no UTURN, instead Pam and i are having a light night at our home. All the teens are invited. It should be tons of fun. We could use some of your help for that too.

Sundays we are changing UTURN to third service (11:30), should be fun.

We will be studying the book of Philippians. Please encourage your teens to bring there bibles to church. Love you all. Peace. Out. Late.
